Marathon Active Living Centre

People need a place to gather, learn and exercise. It’s why the Build Communities Strong Fund exists – to help communities build for this generation and the generations to come.
Today I announced 37.5 million dollars from the federal government to support a new 100,000-square-foot Active Living Centre in Marathon, Ontario. This state-of-the-art, fully accessible and energy efficient facility will provide residents of all ages with a modern space to stay active, connect with neighbors, and strengthen community ties for decades. Congratulations to Town Council for their vision and effort!
